Reigning Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama 991 champion Ashley Freiberg and MDK Motorsports will showcase a new Mobil1 livery beginning this weekend at Barber Motorsport Park.

The new livery will help Mobil 1 celebrate it’s 50th anniversary in 2024. This year Mobil 1 is showcasing more than 40 iconic, specially-designed liveries and paint schemes on the track throughout the 2024 motorsports season.

These liveries – which will be seen within IMSA, WEC, Formula 1, NASCAR, NHRA, MotoGP and more – use distinct design elements, including anniversary gold, both signifying 50 years of the Mobil 1 brand and embodying the dynamic relationships between Mobil 1 and its collaborators.

“I’m so honored to be representing the Mobil 1 50th Anniversary livery this season,” said Freiberg.

“The car looks amazing, and I am so filled with gratitude to be a small part of such an iconic brand’s legacy this season..

“Jumping up in the Porsche 992 class this season with MDK Motorsports has been amazing. The car is really fun to drive and definitely a step up from the 991.

“Our goal is to repeat a championship win this season, I know the team is working tirelessly to make the cars top-notch, and it has shown in their results in both Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama as well as Carrera Cup.”

After winning the 991 class championship last year, Freiberg made her debut in the 992 class at Sebring International Raceway, finishing second and fourth in the two races.

At the picturesque Barber Motorsport Park this weekend, she will be aboard one of four cars entered by MDK Motorsports alongside 992 teammates Paul Bocuse and Conrad Geis as well as 992 Masters racer Alessandro Chiocchetti, who will make his debut for the team.

On-track action kicks off on Friday with the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama championship showcased as part of the NTT INDYCAR Series event this weekend. The two races are scheduled for 5:15pm on Saturday and 4:10pm on Sunday.
